Instant sand



Here�s a cool demonstration about how some special sand expands from a tiny amount to fifty times it�s own size. Pretty cool! Instant sand!

That's sodium polyacrylate, a polymer used in diapers to absorb liquids. It's adsorbancy is amazing, but you can get it pretty readily.
