Although it may seem dangerous, it's literally the safest place you can be during a storm. Because it acts as a Faraday cage, and because it grounds the lighting immediately, this woman and her family lived to tell the tale!
When a Spanish matador, runs into trouble with the bull he was fighting, a stray dog jumps to the rescue. And this dog is no pitbull or mastiff. It's a small little dog, wrestling that big bull. That's why they say a dog is a man's best friend! Amazing!
A very cool chain reaction, created, probably, by an arsonist It centers every step around fire and mini-explosions. It ends, in a very spectacular fashion, but I won't give it away here, because it really is special. Enjoy!
A very cool compilation of videos (some of which can be found on this site too) of crazy and amazing skills caught on video. The sickest in my opinion is the one with the spinning pens. You can view it in more detail here, but only after you see this cool compilation video first. Enjoy!
Who said technology and art can't live together? What human kind can build is limited solely by their imagination. I've seen before the creations of Theo Jansen, but this one, takes the cake. It's not only very beautiful, but gracious and functional, even though it has thousands of moving parts. Amazing.
Nature can seem very odd sometimes. But just because you're high up on the evolution scale, it doesn't guarantee that you are the same on the food chain. Really amazing!
Here's a spectacular accident on the freeway. After raining quite a bit, it seems that the water in the sewer had nowhere to go but out into the open, like a geyser. Really amazing! Enjoy!
Nobody can doubt that a pilot has skills, when he tries (and succeeds) to open beer bottles with his helicopter. So after doing this, what's next, maybe a haircut? Any volunteers?
A pretty spectacular video in ultraviolet capturing the transit of the Moon in front of the Sun.
Here are some more details from the authors: "A million miles from planet Earth, last weekend the STEREO B spacecraft found itself in the shadow of the Moon. So, looking toward the Sun, extreme ultraviolet cameras onboard STEREO B were able to record a stunning movie of a lunar transit (aka solar eclipse), as the Moon tracked across the solar disk."
